All levels are welcome. Yoga at Public Space One is a space to try new things, to learn, and to connect. Beginners to advanced yogis will find physical and mental challenges coupled with moments of bliss. Yoga has been shown to decrease stress, increase cardiovascular endurance, and nourish the spine.
BYOM (bring your own mat), if possible. Limited mats are available. Comfortable clothing that allows for movement is encouraged. Strive to arrive at least five minutes before class starts.
About the instructor: Helaina Thompson is a yoga instructor with experience teaching clients ranging from student athletes to senior citizens. She believes yoga is a form of mental and physical health care that everyone should have the right to experience.
