Mixed media on paper: acrylic paint, acerbity, snark, empathy
This singular pPainting is a diptych. I pPainted this as I saw my first-ever falling stars during the recent Perseids showers. My themes always run, in one image, from the subatomic to the cosmic; so any reference one finds to shooting stars is coincidental and deliberate.
The winning bidder gets to choose which half of the pPainting the winner wants. I keep the other half. (A pPainting must always be alive, in conversation, and walking through the world. That’s when its significance and relevance begin; not when it’s hanging on some wall as decoration.) This way the pPainting will live across time and space and lives and community, coercing its conversation into multiple perspectives and manifold possibilities.
