PARKING
Bike: There is a bike rack on the corner of our lot, at the intersection of Bloomington and Gilbert Streets.
Car: The closest city parking ramp is Tower Place Ramp (3.5 blocks away). There is a long-term metered lot very close on Market St between Bluebird Diner and George’s, metered street parking adjacent, and free opposite-side street parking within several blocks.

ACCESS
Ramp access is available to the west entrances of both 225 and 229 N Gilbert, via the Bloomington St. driveway. Both buildings have wheelchair accessible restrooms on the first floor.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

PS1 Close HOUSE

open Mon & Sat 11a-1p, Tues & Thurs 6-8p, and for events

*The Gilbert Street bridge just north of the Close House is closed for construction through fall. If you’re coming from the north please use an alternate route.

PARKING
Bike: There are bike racks on the east side of the parking lot.
Car: There are about a dozen free parking spaces in our lot north of the Close House. There is also free and metered parking on adjacent streets (Bowery, Prentiss, Van Buren). The nearest city parking ramp is Harrison Street, 5 blocks away. Please do not park in the private lots of adjacent apartment buildings!

ACCESS
Ramp access is available to the east entrance to the building. There is a wheelchair accessible restroom on the first floor.
