ARTIST RESOURCE COORDINATOR

about this position

PS1 is seeking candidates for a part-time, 10-month contract position focused on coordinating communications and logistics for our new and growing artist resource programs.

The artist resource coordinator will work closely with other PS1 staff to collaboratively manage social media, website, outreach, correspondence, and events that support our artist resources, including but not limited to grants, workshops, and residencies.

Must be available in person Friday afternoons; other regular work time to be arranged. Flexible workspace and a non-dedicated computer workstation is available on site at PS1.

A small amount of travel with other PS1 staff within eastern Iowa will be required. (Access to vehicle/driver’s license not required.)

compensation

$616/month with an expectation of 28 work hours per month (averaging 7 hours per week, may flex from week to week).
All PS1 staff are paid based on the same hourly rate.

The contract starts asap (April 2024) and ends January 30, 2025. There is a potential for future/continuing contract work with PS1.

The individual in this role will also receive full PS1 membership benefits including free access to our community studios: the Iowa City Press Co-op and Media Arts Co-op.
