The Iowa Itinerant Internet is an off-grid short-range network.

iii functions as a wireless digital repository accessible via wifi, without the internet. It is purposely disconnected, meaning its content can be accessed only within its physical proximity. It can hold games, pdfs, photos, chat, digital artwork, websites, music, videos, guest books, etc… basically anything the internet holds (only without all the lame password inputting).

iii soft-launched at MdW Fair in September 2022 and is now housed at PS1’s Close House space: 538 S. Gilbert.

We are seeking submissions for the iii’s library of art and survival — content that you’d want to be on the internet at the end of the world.
