As part of the Johnson County Juneteenth Commemoration, the Center for Afrofuturist Studies’ Oracles of Iowa City project will a community conversation on Blackness and Belonging in Iowa City.

This conversation is free and open to the public, and will assess the culture of public art in Iowa City and how well it serves the Black community.
