Want to help out? Join us for the VOLUNTEER JAM, 8 days of digging into projects to make our community space better! Staff & experienced PS1 folk will be available all week to accommodate your schedule, and there’s a picnic at the end!

Tasks include:

• interior painting
• light carpentry
• gardening and yard work
• organizing, schlepping, and dump runs
• window cleaning
• cleaning out the Media Arts Co-op’s new space in the PS1 Close carriage house
• light librarian work in the CAS Reading Room
• and MORE!

Everyone who participates will be entered in a drawing to win a prize at the end of the week!

Volunteer Jam Week wraps up with a picnic and volunteer open house on Saturday Aug. 13 from 4-6pm! Come picnic with us, make new friends, and chat with us about different ways you can get involved with PS1 in the future, from curation to carpentry to computers!
We’ll have stuff to grill and nibble on + bubbly water; BYOB.
