Individual table space is ~4 ft. There is no fee to register; instead, artists are asked to donate 20% of their day of sales to PS1 to support our arts programs, spaces, and resources (and future art markets!).
Here is the rubric we will use to select artists for this market:
• Make work that engages with social issues.
• Skillful and professionally presented application (clear and thorough representation of work and thoughtful response to application questions)
• Range of media represented in the sale (we aim for a variety of art styles and media at each sale)
• Priority to PS1 Members (all members including: ICPC, MAC, gallery team, sustaining, etc)
• Range of art sales experience and opportunity levels:
we aim for a variety of experienced and novice art sale/booth artists –
we also aim to share this opportunity throughout multiple sales (those who didn’t participate in the most recent art sale and meet other qualifications will have higher priority)
• Received by initial deadline (priority is given to people who meet initial deadline)
