Surreal House is an annual community-created immersive installation on the first floor of PS1’s Close House in the month of December, conceptualized by Kelly Moore and featuring the work of many local artists!
It opens with our annual fundraiser party, Dada Prom, on the first Saturday of December, and also hosts other events including a family day, concerts, and your own private gathering (contact info@publicspaceone.com to learn more and reserve your date!).

CALL FOR DADA PROM PERFORMERS — a paid opportunity to create a performance for Dada Prom on December 6. Rolling consideration of applications through October.
CALL FOR ARTWORK — Surreal House Emporium. PS1 Members are invited to submit 1-2 artworks (unique or multiples) to be for sale throughout the month of December during Dada Prom and Surreal House open hours.
CALL FOR VOLUNTEER ART WORKERS — Help put it all together! We’re looking for folks to help with decoration, logistics, hands-on making, event staffing, and cleanup/deinstall.
