Synopsis
Kai is a dreamer and community organizer working to stop the demolition of a public observatory. When the supernatural starts to warp his reality and bring the ghosts of his past and the promise of his future into conflict, he goes on a journey to bring peace to his life and learns how to grieve and grow.
This is a workshop reading! Actors will be reading and singing with their scripts on music stands and there will be minimal staging and design elements. Audience members will be asked to provide feedback on their experience and perspective on the musical following the reading.
Accessibility
Please note there will be a small live band and the space is pretty confined so if you are sound-sensitive, please bring earplugs and/or headphones. KN95 or higher degree masks are highly encouraged for all audience members. Actors will be unmasked while performing. Please reach out if there are other access needs we can meet to support your experience of the reading.
