ABOUT THE I / WE BELIEVE IN ART PROJECT

I/We believe in art // a collective belief in art.

During the first two weeks of September 2019,  art believer guru Sayuri invited all believers in art to handwrite their beliefs and submit them either digitally or physically, resulting in 100+ submissions from near and far.

Each of these beliefs were laid out and screen printed at Iowa City Press-Coop, marking this the last artwork printed at ICPC Wesley location before moving to its permanent home on Gilbert St.

The result is this beautiful manifestation of our collective belief in art.
