at the IC Press Co-op (225 N. Gilbert)
pay-what-you-can: $30-$150
In this two-day workshop, students will learn the fundamental concepts involved in boxmaking—grain direction, measuring from an object, how to accurately cut board/bookcloth, and board attachment. Students will make a clamshell box made to house an object of their choosing. You will go home with a clamshell box made with your own two hands!
Open to ages 18+.
Registration deadline: Feb. 15
*PS1 workshops are pay-what-you-can thanks to support from Hills Bank and individual donors. $132 is the true cost of the workshop, and we encourage participants to select the cost that they can afford, or pay a little extra to support future sliding-scale fees.
