with Emily Edwards
Tues. February 10 & Thurs. February 12, 5:30-9pm
at the IC Press Co-op (225 N. Gilbert)
pay-what-you-can: $25-$140
Learn how to screenprint! We'll use hand-drawn or cut stencils to create simple patterns and imagery for a set of 2-color postcard-sized prints, using the photo emulsion process. The skills learned in this workshop can be extended and applied to printing on other substrates including textiles.
All supplies to print a set of 12 2-color postcards are included. Guidelines to begin generating imagery suitable for this project will be shared in advance of the workshop.
*PS1 workshops are pay-what-you-can thanks to support from Hills Bank and individual donors. $120 is the true cost of the workshop, and we encourage participants to select the cost that they can afford, or pay a little extra to support future sliding-scale fees.
