Shifting Ground: A celebration of immigrant stories told with clay
Coming next Fall
A two-weekend workshop in storytelling and ceramics for Hispanic and Muslim immigrants

Work with visiting Portuguese artists Antonio and Paula Pinto.
Be part of an international project about the shifting notions of home and personal identity that come with multiple relocations.
Based on personal histories, we will create sculptures using clay as a fundamental material of everyday life.
Use creative processes as a vehicle for finding a sense of place in new culture, while retaining pride in your own heritage.
WHEN
October 13-15, and 21-22, 2023: Two Weekends. Two hours a day. Five 2-hour sessions total.
